Rumba drumming lesson with drumsticks

Welcome to our Rumba lessons, probably the most natural next step. This style shares the same afrocuban origin and the 4/4 beat with Tangos, but is usually played in a higher speed and with a slightly different rhythmic feel. The first recording that included Rumba are from the beginning of 20th century, but it did not become really popular until the sixties. Originally, the word “rumba” meant “party”, so let’s party!
